One week before the field work, contact Dr. Jascha Polet with following info: equipment needed, dates, site, and field crew
Every student has to submit a release form to the department office
Only students are allowed to directly interact with the equipment
Make sure to bring any permits you might have to the site, and/or to contact local groundskeepers/rangers to let them know of your plans if needed
After the field work is completed (within one day), send Dr. Polet a short summary of the work done
Make sure to return each piece of equipment to its proper spot and to charge everything
